The entirety of the trail introduces the walker to some lovely areas of Telford, and interesting special places, many of which are known only to local walkers but are there for everyone to enjoy.
There are local buses to all the stage points and many places in between , with the exception of Little Wenlock. Coalbrookdale could be an alternative stage point to Little Wenlock for bus users. Trains run between Wellington via Oakengates to Telford Town Centre. The trail is well served by pubs and cafes. For visitors to the area there is ample hotel , bed and breakfast and hostel accommodation.

The Trail is now waymarked in both directions with distinctive magenta discs . They have the T50 logo and a white direction arrow.
You may need to look around you. Sometimes no signposts were available for us to attach a waymark, so you may find them on lamp posts, trees, steps, benches, rails telegraph poles, litter bins and other places.
