The Telford T50 50 Mile Trail Relay Challenge
This is an inter-club challenger that aims to provide an interesting running challenge for Regional Running Clubs whilst promoting the Telford T50 50 Mile Trail
The next running of the challenge will be in Spring (March to May) 2021, this will be run in the clockwise direction.
In 2020 Wrekin Road Runners set a new time, and Shropshire Canicross set a new mixed time see here.
Classes
Open - minimum 4 runners, maximum 20 runners
Mixed - a minimum of 3 females and 3 runners aged 50+ , maximum 20 runners
Cost just £20 per team to include certificates.

When you have entered you will have access to a spreadsheet which gives details about each leg and even allows you to calculate the expected handover times given the start time and the expected minutes per mile for each leg.

T50 Relay - New Fastest Times
Congratulations to Wrekin Road Runners who have set a new time for the relay, running on October 24th 2020 they had a open team and ran in 8 hours 6 minutes and 18 secs. This is faster than the fastest known solo run and so is the fastest known completion time. Congratulations too to Shropshire Canicross who ran as a Mixed team on October 11th 2020in 9 hours 20 minutes and 6 seconds taking almost 40 minutes off their previous time.

Shropshire Canicross retained their crown for the 2019 event, and made their stated target of going under 10 hours by 52 seconds

Second Fastest: Wednesday Women in Motion and Friends 10 hours 33 mins

Three teams entered the inaugural challenge. The Mayor of Telford and Wrekin, Raj Mehtapresented certificates to the teams on Saturday 3rd November 2018 by our sign in the Town Park. Here are some of the runners . (The dogs ran, the youngster didn't)
